ABOUT THE UNIVERSE, AND ALL THAT SURROUNDS IT
The universe is everything. It includes all space, energy, time and of course all of us. Space is still an infinite vastness and the Earth on which we live is just a tiny sphere. The universe was formed after the Big Bang about 13.8 billion years ago. Since then, planets began to form and gather together into different galaxies.
A fraction of a second after the Big Bang, an energy wave erupted, expanding the universe in all directions at tremendous speed. You can imagine how in a split second (10⁻⁴³s) the universe has expanded from the size of an atom to the size of the Earth and then the whole universe. Everything happened so fast in the early universe.
In that vast galaxy, humans have only recently discovered and have a certain understanding of the solar system which is just a tiny galaxy in the Universe. The Sun is an average star that looks bigger and brighter as it is near to the Earth.
In fact, to get to the next nearest star from earth, we would have to travel billions upon billions of kilometers in space. There are many questions about whether there is something outside the universe or if the universe is constantly expanding, to what dimension will it expand? However, there has not been any evidence or research to find the exact answers to these questions.
Because the universe is so vast and has existed for a long time before humans developed as it is today. Researchers are constantly searching for answers to the mysteries of the universe.
